Like many, my family is the at the core of who I am.
My parents, grandparents, brothers, aunt, uncles, cousins, their kids, and mine all have a profound impact on me as a woman.
Above is a #tbt tribute to some of those who matter most in my world.
1. This is my Bub driving his first tractor with his Godfather, Dudey. Noah was so proud of himself because Dudey let him steer all by himself.
2. My dad has always been a gadget guy. I remember when I was a kid, he was always using his camera timer to take group photos. This is my dad, my brother, and me at my paternal grandparents’ home in Illinois. I loved visiting them.
3. These are my maternal grandparents. My grandma had never learned to swim and was terrified of water. She always sat in the back of the boat and kept floatation devices on the seat next to her.
4. The summer before Ahna started kindergarten, we took a road trip out to Rapid City, South Dakota. Of course we had to visit Mount Rushmore. Ahna was soooo excited to see Hammerham Lincoln when we arrived, because they had learned about him in preschool.
